Sometimes the harder we try to sleep, the more difficult it gets and we can find ourselves in a vicious cycle of increased wakefulness, frustration and despair.

I have a particular interest in treating sleeplessness and find the ACT approach (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) to be highly effective and to resonate strongly with people.   I know first-hand how wretched it feels to be locked in a cycle of sleeplessness and am excited to offer a gentle, medication-free approach to sleep problems that will help you to:

  • Quit struggling with sleep and restore trust in your body’s ability to sleep naturally.
  • Learn helpful ways to approach uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that might show up as you get ready to sleep.
  • Build a healthy sleep pattern that will encourage good, refreshing sleep in the long-term.
  • Focus on living the life that you want rather than allow sleeplessness to limit your choices.

If sleep is the main issue that you wish to address, I offer a comprehensive double assessment session (100 minutes), providing a personalised plan including written and audio resources for you to try out in your own time.

This may be sufficient for you to start getting your sleep back on track.

If you wish, additional sessions may then be booked to receive further guidance and support, or address other issues in more depth.
